Both the shooting shirt and the on court jacket were for sale on Rocketsshop.com about a couple of weeks before the lockout ended. I considered making a thread on it but found it insignificant with the uncertainty of the season at the time and the fact that I hated both styles. A couple of days before the lockout ended I saw them in a store called Fanz in a mall. It's supposed to be "The lightest material ever" or "lightest jacket ever" or whatever. They are even uglier in person. I hate how adidas makes cookie cutter everything for all teams in the NBA. That's cool for basic t-shirts and whatnot, but why not have the teams design their own warm up rather than making identical ones for all teams and switching out the colors? They used to allow for teams to make up their own designs. The shooting shirt isn't toooo bad. It's hard to top last year's black alternate one. I have the one from last year and it seriously my favorite shirt to wear. The on court jacket is hideous. It's 2 different shades of red that really aren't our red, as well as it uses 2 or more fabric materials. Just terrible. And if you think the men's version of the oncourt gear looks Portland Trailblazer-ish... Check out what the women's on court jacket looks like. Well, I certainly won't be buying this.
Yeah, not cool. Too closely matched. I do like the pants, a little more nondescript. Though even those are too similar
old ones were better but, that logo kills everything I can't believe we've been stuck with it for so many years
Mission: 1. Get the #1 pick. 2. Draft Andre Drummond. 3. Get new jerseys because of a "new era". 4. Get a championship.
right now the votes is 64/64 lol I guess clutchfans cant decide. Whatever happened to those that said 1993 1994 champions like the throwback warmups. I remember Aaron Brooks was wearing those.
I like last years color scheme. Don't know if the team will ever do the solid red and black but that would be an option.
I think they looks more aesthetic. Rockets logo on the heart-erea. The stripes remind me of control(black stripes on left side) and power(white stripes on right) >as in the normal shooting motion of a right-hander. Dorsal side, the UP symbol between the shoulder blades creates an illusion of energy and poise. PS. No I'm not high, these are what i interpret of them. Love it or hate it, they're still my Rockets. I bleed red til I die.
Off topic a bit but why don't the uniforms have a patch commerating the 45 yr anniversary? Maybe once the season starts?
