best front court means being able to play defense, which amare and carmelo are allergic to. so no, Knicks are not the best.

Chandler, Amare, Melo is first in my opinion, Memphis slightly behind with Marc, Z-Bo, Rudy.

I voted for the Thunder -- Perkins, Ibaka, Durant. The Lakers frontcourt is still pretty good with Bynum, Gasol and Artest. The Knicks, I'm not so sure about. When Amare and Melo start playing some defense, I might think more highly of them.

Tyson Chandler fixes that problem. Dirk was never great on D but that wasn't much of a problem with Chandler back their protecting the rim

Durant and Melo's defense are a wash. Amare is better offensively than Ibaka is defensively, not by a lot though. Perkins and Chandler are a wash, but Chandler is slightly better offensively.

Still have to go with the Lakers. They have the length to really bother opponents.

The warped Clippers do have the best point guard rotation in the NBA. i guess Clipper management believe that they can point guard teams to death.

The heat should be considered over the knicks imo. LBJ better than Melo... Bosh and Amare are a wash and Anthony and Chandler are both defensive centres... I'd take the heat frontcourt.
    - but the grizz have a sick one

Difference being is that Rick Carlisle actually coaches defense and has had some of the better defenses through out the years in Detroit and Indy prior to coming to Dallas. He much improved the Mavs defense even prior to Chandler.

D'Antoni does not even know you are supposed to play defense. He has never taught defense and finds the thought of it very offensive.

I'm not so sure Tyson makes that Knicks team that much better defensively.
