Soldiers in active operations always complain or speak their mind; it's probably more venting and dealing with insane amounts of stress than any sincere opposition to the mission itself. And the fact that the Israeli media leaked it and that the military seems to regret their actions are decent signs. I do feel justified in wondering what could have given them cause to search that house and assault the woman; even though having troops raid or patrol a refugee camp is clearly a bad dynamic.
its tough to see and i sympathize in some ways, but hell, i think everyone has had enough of defending it. If there neighbors stop throwing rockets, tehn maybe this wouldn't happen and they wouldn't be crying about it. It is offense for defense
Israeli's are probably the most racist group of people I have been exposed... with South African's coming in second. You would think after the holocaust they would not act the way they do...
I view the Holocaust sort of like physical abuse. The abused often get so traumatized that they abuse, too when given the chance.
