with the current roster, jvg might be the best coach to get most from this bunch. however, we can't get a trade to go through. the only thing left for us to do is to build our team from scratch. getting higher picks seems like more and more realistic thing to do. 2012 draft should be a good one to start with. if i were DM, i will trade our good players to get draft picks and expiring contracts.

    Really? On a message board?

Perhaps the FA market next year? The Rockets still have assets and Morey could feasibly put together a good trade package. Did the vetoed trade really compromise the organization's ability to flip its assets?

Lakers future clearly hurt badly, but not for the rockets. I did not like the deal for the rockets at the beginning, still do not know if we can get Nene after that deal. The rockets need get young players rather than old expensive ones.

JVG will be fined for this when he comes back to coaching. Stern needs to go.

Now I wish the NFL would have scheduled more games on Christmas day (they have a full slate on Saturday, only one game on Sunday) so that they could blow the NBA out of the water with ratings and put Stern in his place.

I hope the NBA suffers for a while in ratings, primarily because Stern deserves it.

Funny how I saw Kwame's name and instantly knew this thread was totally off the track.

The NBA is not a league. It is nothing more than a sports-related mafia organization. Championships are fixed, games are fixed, deals are fixed. There is more parity in the English Premier League than the NBA, and that is saying something.

I may watch the games just because I have nothing better to do sometimes, but it is going to be very difficult for me to see this "league" as anything more than the WWE of roundball.

Yes, agree wholeheartedly. JVG had a talent-depleted team with only two superstars and no one else.

Although JVG is my favorite Rockets coach and i value his input, i just don't think our situation is as bad as that.

Thanks for your opinion. If you feel so strongly then don't watch the NBA at all anymore and definitely don't post in the GARM or NBA Dish. We'll have one less bitter poster to worry about.

Sorry for the picture size. This is one of the few times I've posted a pic to a msg board. I don't have the technique down, obviously. Also, today (12/16/11) is my birthday. Chillin all day.
