    Hey guys,

I've never bought League Pass before but was contemplating doing so this season.

I have a question though - are the streams nice quality?

When I have watched streams for other websites in the past - it was play for a few seconds then need to buffer. And on top of that the picture was blurry.

What I basically want to know is will the stream flow freely - or will it play for a while and then buffer. As well as how good is the picture quality.

Does it have any effect on viewing if your computer's space is around 50% full?

    Thanks guys

NBA League Pass is having a free preview through 01/08/2012 which I'm pretty sure includes the broadband access, so check it out then and make your decision after the experience. I, too, am thinking about getting the League Pass because I'm getting tired of watching poor quality streams, although I would go for the tv package.

I have had the broadband part with my TV part the ast 2 or 3 seasons, Broadband is nice addition. I usually had good to great looking streams, also remember with Internet providers, and internet speeds will affect it to.

But, It's definitely a must have for out of market fans. I like this years offer now, while it is 169, for my directv, i get the tv, broadband and mobile phone now.

When you guys mentioned something about a tv package - does that mean you can get the games on the tv - instead of having to watch them in a computer screen?

If that's possible... I don't know why I haven't done this for years.

Can you watch the Broadband DVR version of the game from the beginning of the game before the game ends? I would really need this function as living on the west coast I do not get home in time to watch the start of the games. I am thinking of ditching my cable plan and just going off of broadband if it is worth it.

Yes there is a tv package that plays a bulk of NBA games, you'd only miss one or two games from each team. You've been missing out my friend, call your local cable provider and put it on the tab.

Remember, most games are NOT Rocket broadcasts and a lot of games are still blacked out. I continue to get league pass year after year and I continue to be disappointed by it. Like I said in the other forum, I don't want to illegally stream, but honestly the NBA gives me no other choice...

I used to watch my games from Colombia with an internet speed of 2 - 4 Mbps. The quality has always been great, however with the 2 Mbps I could never put it in full screen mode because it would freeze up. With the 4Mbps I was good to go.

If you have at least that speed you should be fine.

Are you saying that you can't see every Rockets game?

I thought that was the point of League Pass - so people could watch each and every game?

Last year I remember missing 1 game, and when I called and complained, citing the same as you were saying above, they offered me a less than $5 discount. Insulting. That was time warner though, maybe with your cable company you'll have better luck.

Yup. Games on NBATv, or games that are supposed to be in your market (but might not be) are blacked out. When I live in AZ, certain Suns/Rockets games were blacked out because theoretically I could have been able to watch them on the My45 (or something like it) affiliate even though I was more than 100 miles away from that city. It's a joke. So many games are blacked out or broadcast by opposing teams.

OP needs info on International Broadband and nothing else.

    https://ilp.nba.com/nbalp/secure/registerform

clutchfans has such a broad fanbase and sometimes I see other fans assume that someone else is either in Houston or they are talking about League Pass vs Broadband vs. International Broadband.

it's different for each user based on their location and whether they are looking to stream games vs watching on tv.

same thing applies to Blackout rules and restrictions- one thing I know for sure is that on LP or LPBB, if a Rockets game is on nbatv, tnt, or espn (wishful thinking) it will be subject to blackout for LP and LPBB users. I dont know how this applies to International users.

there should be a sticky for League Pass questions
