which is a pretty crappy lineup and only looks good because cheap young assets with upside... easy to sell.

in demp's eyes he saw more wins as an easier higher price sell... stern wanted young assets and picks. sterns fault for not saying so.

 

Wojnarowski's the best journalist covering the NBA. Is there even anyone with half his sources? Even though none of this will put a dent into Stern's Ivory Tower, I'm much happier that someone is talking about it rather than no one.

And given Stern's power, I'd say it takes quite a lot of bravery to call him out on this also. Wojnarowski is risking professional and dare I say bodily harm in doing so. If Stern ever gets sued, they're going to have to invoke FICO laws to bring him down. He's nothing short of a mafia boss.

I'm guessing the Clippers had no interest in giving up Gordon AND the pick until Stern came into the picture.

Oh, and that shady waiver claim of Billups certainly came into play too.
