I heard he was coming to our training camp. He put up sick defensive numbers in college and wasn't drafted. DPOY in his conference. Very intriguing defender, trying to develop a 3 pt shot (otherwise awful on offense). He's 6' 6.5" without shoes and a 6' 11" reach. Had 11 pts, 5 rebs, 5 steals, 5 blocks in a tournament game last year. Probably a SF/PF tweener. Makes me think of Blakely, another scrub coming to our camp. Maybe Saunders can be a 10 minute bench player to lock down opposing wings? Has anyone seen him play or can provide more insight?
Sounds like you need some english classes then, sick can be used for almost anything: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAkX1giNelsa #t=1m31s
His junior year he pulled down 11 boards per game and added three steals/blocks per contest to go along with it. Those are pretty impressive defensive numbers. Unfortunately, he's too thin and undersized to play his true position -- the four. Hopefully, he can add some strength, work on his perimeter skills and improve his jumper enough to develop into a three.
