Has anyone else received a response. I for one love that he has changed his view. He is now saying that he is still not worthy of the #1 pick but has backed off from the stance that he will be long forgotten in a few years and the manute bol comparison.

The guy is an idiot. He IS worth the Rockets #1 pick. He fit their need perfectly.

I hope he enjoys watching Dan Langhi play this season.

No wonder he's bent out of shape....his Suns lost to the lowly Nuggets last night. It's gotta suck covering the Suns and football Cardinals this time of year.

    I sent Brickley the following:

I hope you went to a good j-school (because they're all laughing at you now over the Ming story). I know you didn't go to a good psychic hotline school because you might have been able to foresee Ming's already emerging superstardom. My advice is stick to reporting on high school football. M.

Here is the reply I received from Brickley:

thanks for the note. he will never be a dominant force. and, by
the way, i've never covered high school football. thanks for the tip anyway.

The guy will never admit he's wrong. It doesn't matter how Yao plays, he is set in believing Yao is a bust. Why bother. He is just waiting for Yao to play bad.

hey, now he didn't say Yao is a bust .
i think he did back off his comments when he said "he will never be a dominant force".

But why make that comment? He probably has hardly seen Yao play. He'sust basing it off the first 4 games of Yao's career. To him, if Yao does not dominate the game, he is a bust.

Wht do you mean he didn't say Yao was a bust, he compared Ming to one of the biggest busts in NBA history, in fact he said that LaRue Martin was BETTER then Ming, saying Ming made Martin look like Wilt Chamberlain. Now that Ming is playing well he is saying "yeah he's good, but he'll never be a dominant force", but once Ming becomes a dominant force you'll hear him say "Yeah he's a dominant force, but he's no Wilt Chamberlain!". The guy knows NOTHING about Ming and thought it would be cute to go with along with the uninformed and bash Ming because he's 7-6 having never seen him play.

Ha, this has nothing to do with the Suns but it does have to do with Ming being the next dominant force in the NBA. You don't really know basketball do you? Man were u wrong about that Ming and LaRue Martin comparison

possibly. but i wouldn't punch his ticket for the hall of fame just yet.
    thanks for the note.
    and cheers, yourself

CLF - I don't think he ever makes a distinctly racist comment... Calm down.
