K.Martin, L.Scola, G.Dragic and Knicks pick for R.Lewis and wizards 2012 first round pick. This is the best way to tank, guarantee's us a top pick. With the wiz's lotto pick and our lotto pick we can trade into the top 3 and take a shot a getting a star player through the draft. Lets say we get lucky our first year and get a star ( with a top 3 pick and our scouts we should ) Morey can finally do what he does best and get great role players and or border line allstars around him. F*uck waiting for some one that will most likely never come along.
I think the Jizzards could absorb a lot of those contracts without us having to take on Rashard. I'd take their 2012 first rounder, sure, but it'd take more than that, because that pick won't be worth much if they have Luis and Martin. Not that they'd give up Vesely.
You realize that trading multiple good players to a bad team is likely to make them a good team, right?
Well the wiz pick would be a late lotto pick... who knows, but if there team would make the playoffs with Kev and scola, then id say we just look at a different team that would be closer to the top ten with them. Our pick is gonna be the the low one anyways : lowry - lee - bud - patterson - hill ~ back ups : flinn -williams - morris - ??? - thabeet ~ there's noooo way that team makes it out of the top 5. So a top 5 pick with and a late lotto pick and anybody on the team to trade up to get the guy our scouts think will be a star for out team. If the guy turns out to be a star then boom we got what we wanted, if not there always next year to try again in the draft. Its would take a lot less time and stress then the strategy were trying to use now, ***** that strategy.
1.) K. Martin + Dragic + Hill for Al Jefferson + CJ Mile (expiring contract) 2.) Scola for K. Perkins Perkins, Patterson, Habeet Jefferson, Morris CJ Mile, Budinger, Parson Lee, T-Will Lowry, Flynn, Lin we'll have 3 1st rd. picks to work with (NY's pick, Memphis' pick, and our own pick); and about $18 millions in cap room next summer. IF, D-Will and Howard wants to form a super friends' team we can sign one of them and trade for the other one with a package of Lowry+Perkins+Patterson+1~3 1st. picks.
While we're at it... http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=6mbbxeg Orlando would also get our future 1st round picks.
Or this one... http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7yv5sqe Younger package plus they dump both hedo and jameer's contracts.
Last one... the one every Rocket fan would prefer... http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7x9wqas Again Orlando will get a future 1st round pick as well. Plus we absorb Hedo and jameer's contracts.
Nice proposal, but I'd rather have D12 going to the Rockets. So give Orlando also the draft picks they want: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=8xxvpe2 Line-up: PG: Lowry/Dragic/Flynn SG: Lee/T-Will SF: Iggy/Morris/Parsons PF: Patt/Hill/Cousin C: D12/Dalembert Sign Dalembert. Let Hakeem coach D12 every day of the week ...
LOL i know these are just random trade ideas but let's be somewhat realistic. Dwight doesn't want to come to Houston. Period.
Trade 1: trade Lee and Hill to Memphis for OJ Mayo Trade 2: trade Martin to Philadelphia for Iguodala Trade 3: trade Scola and Flynn to LAC for Kaman Line-up Lowry, Dragic Mayo, Williams Igudala, Bud, Parsons Patterson, Morris Kaman, Thabeet
Kings have Jimmer, Evans, Thornton to share the back court. Salmons, Garcia, Honeycutt, Green to share the 3. Somesones gonna give.
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=79ml4mr Houston out: Martin, Hill Houston in: Okafer, George NO out: Okafer NO in: Rush (exp), Posey (exp), Hill Indiana out: George, Rush, Posey Indiana in: Martin Houston, gets a good defensive C, gives Lee a chance to see what he can do as a starter and a probable starter in George, also a huge prospect. NO, gets 2 expiring and Hill to fill in a PF gap. Unfortunately, with the going rates on bigs, I wont say Okafers contract is bad. Indiana, Martin is a missing gap giving them a legit line up to compete in the East.
well that could actually make sense, but they are rumored to be in firesale right now so i dont think they want a Scola contract.
Pacers are really high on George and they are not going to give him up that easily. Apparently he is somewhere up to 6'10.5" and still growing
I think we should look to deal martin or scola (preferably martin) for a 2012 draft pick. Play the rookies and hopefully land our superstar in the draft. Here are some potential suitors: To Chicago for Asik and Charlottes 1st round 2012 first round draft pick from Charlotte Charlotte's own 2012 1st round draft pick to Chicago (top-14 protected in the 2012 Draf To Cleveland for Varejoa and one of their picks Their own 1st round (have up to 4 1st round picks in total) 2012 first round draft pick from Miami Cleveland has the right to swap their own 2012 1st round pick with Miami's own 1st round pick. [Cleveland - Miami, 7/9/2010] 2012 first round draft pick from Sacramento Sacramento's own 2012 first round draft pick to Cleveland (top-14 protected in the 2012 Draft, top-13 protected in 2013) To Minnesota for a Big and Utah 1st rounder: 2012 first round draft pick from Utah Utah's own 2012 first round pick to Minnesota (top 14 protected in the 2012 draft and top 12 protected in the 2013 draft) To Phoenix for gortat and 1st They their pick and an extra 2nd rounder To UTAH (both martin and scola?) for Al Jefferson and 1st rounder? 2012 first round draft pick from Golden State Golden State's own 2012 1st round pick to Utah via New Jersey (top 7 protected in the 2012 Draft Other options are Milwaukee, Toronto and Washington who both have Big men and own their own picks... Just a thought...
