He can't rebound! We would get worked over on the glass. Other then that he is solid.

Privately, Portland believes Gerald Wallace has evolved into Blazer "heart and soul" and are hesitant to move him for picks and cap space.

how about they make a 3 way trade with Lakers for Howard.

    Rocket get: Gasol & Barnes

Orl gets: Bynum, Martin, Scola, Chase, Picks

    Lakers: Howard, Turk

it works on the Espn trade machine.... what you guys think????

Ironically, 2 1st round draft picks. Which would be exactly what they'd be getting here. So if they got him for peanuts, they're now selling him for peanuts.

The Magic are "not in a rush to do anything," regarding the potential trade of Dwight Howard.

The Magic reportedly have no interest in a package built around Brook Lopez and Gerald Wallace, and it's tough to blame them. That's not a very enticing offer to land an elite center, and Howard's price tag should be sky high considering he's a franchise-altering player. The rumors won't be going by the wayside at any point soon. Source: CBS Sports Dec 14 - 12:08 PM

44 games before the trade deadline.

If ORL is 22-22 or something, they'll deal him.

It only takes a half-season plus a lockout to become a "Blazer heart and soul"? Is there some corresponding NBA2k12 XBOX Achievement component of it? Crap, that's easy. I guess that's what happens when you treat your assets like people.

I'm glad to hear this because the Lakers are making a mistake. They aren't going to win the championship this season but securing Howard would get them on track for the long term.

Jeez, I just realized that if Deron leaves, as everyone expects him to, they'll be stuck with Brook Lopez and...Travis Outlaw?

I guess Deron+Dwight would be pretty sick, but it just seems teams are hemorrhaging team depth to acquire one or two superstars, while the Rockets are doing the opposite.

Really glad the Magic turned that down. Too many fans (and even some GMs) freak out over FIRST ROUND DRAFT PICKS!!!!!!! in basketball, as if they're the same value as the NFL. In reality, as discussed last week, picks in the 20s typically have neutral to even negative value, and that's exactly where those Nets' picks would be on a team with Deron/Dwight.

Good move by the Magic to hold out for real value.

Why? Because the Rockets will be better than your Mavs?
