Who got some perspiration tears after that game sealing Touchdown yesterday? I had to fight them back, because ten years of supporting garbage/mediocrity, I finally witnessed something. We have a damn good football team?

    AFC South Champs FTW.

All I read is people saying stuff about 'it's about time, 10 years later' and blah blah blah. My question is, is it normal for new teams to take a decade to make it to the playoffs/win their division? I would have thought 10 years is normal, if not good, but I may be wrong.

When I think about it, we obviously arn't going to be making the playoffs for the first few years as a team. After that, we were stuck in the same division as one of the best QBs ever. Having to play Manning twice means a good chance us as a young team would lose those 2 games, and at best, we'd be in the wild card chase.

I donno, I just don't think 10 years is a long time to wait for a new team to win their division. I could be wrong.

Panthers and Jaguars did it very quickly.

    " I'm a real man i don't cry?" Wade
    or my favorite,
"Have you ever heard of the frog that crossed the road without getting squashed and ended up with the number one ranked defense?" Ok, , I made the last one up.

Very few expansion teams to compare the Texans to. As noted above the panthers and jags both made it very early, with the panthers I believe going to the superbowl in their second season or something. Both teams, however, were beneficiaries of very relaxed free agency rules for them coming as well as double picks per round in the draft.

The team that makes the Texans look so terrible is Tampa Bay: they started 0-26 in their first two seasons ('76-'77) and still made it to the playoffs by '79.

In this age of NFL parity where there have been 8 different super bowl champions in the last 9 years, no one should be a doormat (or champion) for an extended period of time.

They revised, or nerfed, the expansion draft rules after the Panthers and Jaguars. Boselli never suited up, but it doesn't excuse generally bad drafting on the team's part.

I cried, why front? Especially when they showed TJ Yates' family embracing the moment.

the only downside to this season is not being able to pit this defense against Peyton Manning. i would love to see what Wade could have done to him.

at worst, i believe we would split with the colts. then Peyton would have put losses on other AFC teams.

I actually got a headache from screaming. I NEVER get headaches. And I binge drink on the weekends like everyone else. Then I realized... I haven't had anything to scream about since 22 wins. My body just wasn't prepared for it.

I had to really check myself, with an exhausted wife (watched the first half) and toddler both napping in the rooms behind me.

It was the jump up on the couch holding back some yelps that haven't really happened since the Rockets glory days.

We screamed and jumped up and down, with the 15-month-old watching. Then he screamed and jumped up down, too, though I'm sure he didn't know why.

I think I went more nuts at the PI call. Maybe I was shocked into a stupor at the actual TD, but I felt really confident that Yates was gonna pull it off. I had the same feeling when watching Tebow pull the Miami game outta his ***.

I was a big fan of Tebow when he won his first game. Then Espn decided to dedicate half their show to him. Consider me not a fan anymore. I had some perspiration tears as soon as I saw his family's(TJ) reaction. Was such a cool moment.

I was holding one of my sleeping 3-month olds while watching the last drive and telling my wife "I'm not going to get excited, we're still going to lose."

After the PI flag, I said "okay, I have to put this baby down now because I'm not sure what I'm going to do if we score a TD."

Once we scored, I started jumping up and down like a little girl....but not making a single sound. That was really weird.

And yes...I did get a little presperation in my eyes watching TJ's mom crying...
