Minnesota isn't going anywhere soon, and I doubt we will be either unless we make a trade. If we could somehow get Beasley and Darko, without giving up too much I believe we are big contenders in the west... and our 7.4 trade exception is still with us that we received from Battier... if we could give up a combination of Martin/Patterson/ 1st rounder/or 2 and Morris (or Bundinger) for Darko, wesley and take on Brad Millers crappy contract I think we have a shot with Beasleys antics he has pulled in Minny... not exactly a fan favorite. Just think of this Lowry/ Dragic Lee / Wesley Beasly Morris or Bud Scola/Morris Darko/ ? I believe that still gives us room to sign a big player such as Dwight, why would he want to play for a team like that? I mean we could give up Wesley, Dragic, 1st rounder, Morris and I believe we have another 4 million trade exception. a line-up of Lowry Lee Beasly Scola Howard should easily be top 3 seed in the west... I kind of got out of the NBA loop with the lockout, thinking there wasn't going to be a season so haven't been on here much. but let me know what y'all think. I would even be happy with first trade and hold tight til trade deadline, I'm confident with that first unit to at least make 6-8 seed
22 and 26. Why are they going to give up on them already? They're trying to get somewhere with those 2.
It's not that far fetched... i predicted the Mcgrady trade and everyone called me crazy. NBA is a crazy league that is rigged i best attempt to have the league make revenue. Crazier things have happened.
a Beasley trade would just about be enough to put me right over the edge. Not a good guy and he has serious flaws in his game.
I would trade Kevin Martin for Darko Milicic and a first rounder. Darko's very servicable defensive minded 7 footer but I dont think Minny owns his first rounder for this years draft. I would die for Milicic&Beasley if we flip Beasley to a third team immediatly.
