Since this thread's subject is "Yates Predictions" it would be wrong to come down hard on those ready to put Yates in Schaubs starting spot - that is just stupid. However, it is, after all a prediction with no specific date of expiration. Yates may indeed may one day deserve said starting job, but at this point i would just bless the lucky stars that have allowed him to showcase his talents and knack for some lucky breaks in getting us through these last few games. He will need a Brady like play off run to truly consider him ready as as next years starter.

that said C'mon Yates, momentum is on your side and the raw skills and even poise are on your side..... STARTING QB Yates! You go! I see a texans team with a badass defense ready to make it happen. The stars are aligning.

    We need Dre back bad.

Agree 100%. He is proven that he only knows how to win. Tebow hasn't accomplished that.

TJ Yates is a career backup.

No way he can be good.

Only DaDakota can say it and have it matter. He pumped up VY for all these years which allowed VY to be a failure and Schaub to be a pro-bowler. The problem is he probably think Yates is the second coming of Tebow, which could be problematic for his career.

Yates is already the second most loved player after Foster on the national stage. Wow.

Has there ever been a succesful quarterback with initials as a first name?

If he wants his career to continue progressing, its time to unveil Taylor Yates.

When he makes an awesome play you have to use his entire name, it's in the rules. I can hear Vandermeer now, "ROCK AND ROLL Taylor Jonathan Yates is un-freaking believable!"
