no chuck is going to hurt, he was our leader last year. i wait to reserve judgement. the effort of luis, kyle and pat should keep us competitive night in and night out.
Our team doesn't suck, we actually have pretty good players, making it a decent team but what we need is a bonified star in the words of DD an ALPHA DOG! a super star that can shine on our team, right now were in the process of aquiring one trough trades, but dont hold your breath...oh! and dont bother looking in the draft god forbid, its a waste of time either way Kevin martin doesnt want to be part of a rebuilding team, and you know... we have to keep our best players happy!:grin:
Terrible thread. We don't suck completely. We will play some good games and cause some problems for some teams...
:grin: Since the off season, I have been only hearing good things from Jordan Hill. It seems he has improved a lot and is now willing to put extra effort to earn his minutes. On the other hand, it is nice to see Terrence Williams happy with Kevin McHale. I still believe he is a better player than Chase Budinger and Courtney Lee in term of personal skill and athleticism. Yet, if he wants to get into the rotation, he does need to be more professional and to understand how to play basketball as a team. Finally, I fail to see how Hasheem Thabeet is different from last year. I won't be surprised if i don't see him play often this year. =__=|||
Actually with a shortened season I expect alot of teams to have a similar record...I believe near the end of the season we will have the chance to be as high as a 6th/7th seed..and as low as 11th....
This team is without Hayes now. Lee and Pat hardly play. So we have absolutely ZERO defense now. We really need SammyD.
We aren't forgetting that. In fact, those are two of the biggest reasons we suck. I really don't understand your point. Are you saying 'We're pretty good for a team with no all-stars and major holes at two positions!'? Because if so, that's a hilariously optimistic way of viewing this situation. We've lost three starters from last season without even including Aaron Brooks. Our young guys are unproven. We're going to suck bad this year.
I dont know about that. We still have Lowry, Scola, Martin, Patterson, Budinger, Morris on the roster. It would take a long way towards making us suck still.
In fact I think our problem will be we dont suck enough and at the same time are not one of the really good teams either.

Will we at least be better than the Jazz? I'm still watching every game. I only turn games off when Brad Miller gets stuffed on a drive to the basket.

Yea I think the shortened season can help us if we're able to gel quickly Sucks we're still in the toughest division though. Mavs, Grizzlies, Spurs still all good. Hornets too if CP is w/ them for most of the season
