Honestly wouldn't fans be more interested to just see what Thabeet could do with extended minutes rather than throw a desperate contract at someone like Dalembert?

Eh, they still have Biendris and the young rookie Jeremy Tyler. But truth be told I hope he signs with them instead, at this point I much rather play Hill and Thabeet.

What is tanking going to do for us? Every Allstar is getting sign for next 5 years. We got to establish a nucleus which we have some already just got to add to the team. Just bc we don't get top seed or 1-4 seeds in playoffs I've seen a #5-#6 win it all. It's called a team not 2 stars to win.

You should post more often. I am afraid that Les will dish out a Cato like contract.

Since we missed out in the Gasol acquitsitions, I'd rather just pass on Dalembert and play our young players.

I'd rather we give K-Fez a long-term cheapish contract and let the pups play at this point. It shouldn't harm our cap situation if it's like 4yrs-10m total.

And flip Scola and Martin if a good deal comes up.

With McHale's help - Hill/Thabeet/Fez should be okay defensively with incremental offensive improvements. And that's all we really need from the C spot.

If we add nene or sam without adding another legit peace, it will probably wind up being a waste. lets see what our young guns can do and flip accordingly.

Say whatever about him, he doesn't sound as cool as Marc Gasol, Chandler or Nene, but Dalembert by himself give this team 5 more wins than last year, at the least. For an acceptable price, sign him.

we are running out of options. Only legit centers that are left on the market are Nene and Dalembert. we need to get one of them ASAP. we can't go into the season without a legit center on the roster. Thabeet maybe good enough to play for about 15 minutes a game but we need a starting center badly. otherwise teams are going to have layup drills against us. If we can sign Dalembert for less than 10 million a year would be ideal.

we just need a center who can rebound and block shots.
    Lowry/Dragic/Flynn
    Martin/Lee
    Patterson/Chase/T-Williams
    Scola/Jordan Hill/Morris
    Dalembert/Thabeet

This line up can compete in this league.
Starting line up of Lowry, Martin, Patterson, Scola, Dalembert is good. Scola and Martin are not great individual defenders but can be good team defenders with Patterson and Dalembert behind them contesting shots.

I say we just throw a reasonable contract at Sam D. If he take it ok I think we will be better off. If not then just play thubust and see if he can do anything

Teams like Minnisota (Just an example) that have lived in the lottery and need veteran leadership would probably take Martin or scola...

They really need to go ahead and sign Dalembert so that he can get to training camp. They have already offered right? What's the hold up? Oh yeah, still star chasing.
