This may not bode well for the Nets. How much of a priority can they be for him now?

So, how do you feel about rooting for a team owned by a foreign country's President? What's next? Les Alexander selling the Rockets to the government of China?

Why not, they already own most of the country anyways.

I like Jay-Z, but he's small fry compared to Prokhorov. People are way harder over there than here. People get poisoned w/ radiation if they piss off the wrong people.

"But Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, predicted Monday the probe will show that little vote fraud occurred and that it had no effect on the outcome."

Prokhorov's probably just running for prez to show Dwhight Howard that he has big balls and to demonstrate Deron Williams that he probably wouldn't even be afraid of Stern.

What does this show us? The lockout was completely in vain. Owners tried to break player's power and now owner are doing even crazier stuff than before to get / keep superstars. Before the lockout, not even Dan Gilbert thought of running for russian president to keep Bron and now, just days after the lockout, this.
