No, I've never said that. In 2004, we had Yao(24) & T-Mac(25). They were considered to play well for at least 5 years. We shouldn't hope on an Allstar PF at 32 years old.
Two of my favorite quotes: "What do you mean Kevin Martin is not a two way player? When he is on the court both teams score a bunch of points". "Scola would be an all star power forward if you only considered offense". Both of those players are going to get along great with the new coach. LOL
I must apologize for my poor English.I really didn't mean that. Sell and trade mean the same in my first language.
You propose a blue sky scenario. And last I checked there was no Lebron like guaranteed super star in the 2012 draft. Two really good potential centers ... Sullinger and Drummond. Both are top 5 projected. Betting on the ping pong balls and catching a shooting star in the draft are both well under 50% probability . I admit you could get really really lucky. Otherwise it is 3 -5 years of mind numbing basement dwelling.
When having such a young talented squad I don't see why should Rockets regret that PG. Kyle Lowry/ Jonny Flynn SG. Terrence Williams/ Courtney Lee SF. Marcus Morris/ Budinger/ Terrence Williams/ Donatas Motiejunas/ Courtney Lee PF. Donatas Motiejunas/ Patrick Patterson/ Marcus Morris C. Hasheem Thabeet/ Jordan/ Hill/ Donatas Motiejunas
