You keep saying that we need to jettison some players for draft picks.

What imaginary picks are you gonna go after? From which team?

Teams don't give away draft picks for veterans very often.

    Give me specific ideas?

I don't know DaDakota - your starting to look like someone who has spent more time(80,000 posts worth) talking and not enough time listening. Lots of short sighted responses. I'm not saying that to attack you, just an objective observation because I don't think you are really aware that you are starting to come off as someone who doesn't put very much thought into what they are saying.

Dalembert is still available. He hasnt sigend yet.

DaDakota, it seems me, with the posts youve been making in different threads, is that you're content with mediocrity. You're fine with having a team that "tries hard" and wins those mother****ing moral victories. Those **** were fine for me too at first but when you get a chance to be something better, you take it even if theres gonna be some casualties.

Our problem all year has been the lack of defense inside and with the recent **** up Stern did, we have lost our starting, and best defender, in Chuck Hayes. How do you think will we be fine here? We are ****ed. The next best move we might make is sign Sam Dalembert. SAMUEL MOTHER****ING DALEMBERT. GOOD GOD. We wont escape this hell with him.

Now, you're praising Mark Cuban for screwing us - at a time like this where the franchise is probably at its worst state in years? Wow.

The thing that gets me is Cuban was all upset because the Lakers were reloading by getting Paul and quite possibly Howard. That's a team you can't buy and hard to beat. But then he goes and gives the Lakers some pieces they need for getting Howard. Personally I think if/when the Lakers get Howard. Chris is going to walk over to the Lakers. NO's might be able to trade him to another team, but I seriously doubt he'd sign an extension which dramitically lowers his value.

I'm preparing myself for some sickening Lakers / Heat years.

his team just won a championship einstein, and most of it is attributed to him, his loyalty to dirk and their core.

What a bunch of whinny, b****y little girls! Instead of crying in your red koolaid about Mark Cuban, you folks need to pull your collective heads out of Les' a** and quit swallowing whatever BS this organization puts out. At the end of the day, he's still posing with the O'Brien trophy while all Les has to show for the past decade is squat. And if you hate him now, get ready to REALLY despise him when he goes out and signs Blake Griffin to replace Dirk.

I admit Cuban is a jerk to anybody but Mavs fans. But give the guy credit, he knows basketball and isnt afraid to spend to bring in players. Morey might be a numbers guy, but Cuban has 5 times the basketball knowledge as far as who to bring in and who to let go.

I have to agree. With ALL the money Les has made over the years from TMAC and YAO era (from ticket sales, merchandising and sponsoring from China) He'd have the decency to return SOME of that cash flow and overspend some, especially at a time like this. "No, we're not going to tank, but we want to. So let's keep that secret amongst ourselves, for PR and sales-sake" -Front office

However, it does really suck when no major star wants an extension in Houston:(

In past discussions we were held as having a very, high-esteemed, front office. Now Stern goes and ****s up our chemistry. If anyone is the douche it's STILL STERN. And please quit the hate around here, you're forgetting who the real enemy is.

I personally don't like Cuban. Dallas and Portland always killed Rockets with their own moves to block something of Rocket's plans. We wanted Brandon Roy and F**king Portland killed that. Now Cuban did the same thing. This Odom trade is to kill the Rocket's plans to sign a player like Nene but he is unintentionally helpling the Lakers to get a shot at getting Dwight Howard with the huge Trade Exception Dallas send to Lakers in the Odom trade (8.9 Million). The Lakers can use this exception along with Sasha exception worth about 4 million and take some bad contracts from Orlando in the package to deal for Howard. Now it is all "a wait and see what happens" with us (Rockets fans)...The damage is done and now we have a pissed off Kevin Martin that will be requesting a trade to get out of Rockets, We won't get to sign Nene for sure, Now I think we have to over pay Samuel Dalembert to fill our Center position. Maybe Cuban is going to **** blocked that move too. He is already driving up the price for Samuel Dalembert knowing Houston is after him. What a douche bag......

Yeah....Cuban knows so much about basketball that he let Steve Nash walk..

His players had to go to him and beg him to shut up last year because he was such a distraction to the team.

wow some of you here need to pack up your Houston man card and head north to poser vaginaville.

I don't fault those of you that are 6 years old and are just learning to type.
Heck in your mind the new orleans Saints have always been elite. I get it.

It's a shame that yao and mcgrady weren't more healthy and that most of you were in diapers when heavy hitter god cuban was pissing away MVPs like nash or getting lucky on a number 9 pick like dirk.

Nope it's all about glorifying an owner that wouldnt spend on nash and has everyone mesmerized to the point that their rocket fandom and rocket pedigree is empty. wow. sad.

I thought most of you were better than that but apparently not and thanks for being proud and allowing the mavericks very recent success to shine past all the greats we have had like olajuwon, malone, barkley, drexler etc and give way to the mavericks dynasty of names like dirk, and dirk and dirk and roy tarpley?

I lived in dallas in the 90s and I can tell what the 'true' dallas fan is like since they never existed. Take your $30,000 millionaire job and poser mentality and go align yourselves with the 'great' mavericks and just keep telling yourself you are a champion too... and in the meantime get the f out of here and stop disgracing history and the rockets name pretending like you know anything.
