Most people don't want him but isn't vince carter a fa?if we are trying to win now, he could be a good fit. However, I hope we don't have to give up martin and lee
Gasol Doesn't Anyone remember this ? One Year Ago (I know he faded a bt in the Playoffs - But - personally, I Love Gasol) http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/commentary/news/story?id=5792013
It's 23:36 in China now, 13 hours earlier than you guys. still, it seems nothing new. I wish when I wake up tomorrow morning, the deal is ratified. So good afternoon, you guys. Go to bed now.
Max, You are nailing it, how can you build anything with constant turnover? Sometimes a group of players deserve a chance to find their ceiling as a team. That is not happening in Houston under Daryl Murnover. DD
What I meant is that if you look at it the way that guy did in his tweet, we would be clearing $ 62M by trading Martin and Scola, but what matters is how much we clear per year by trading them (about $ 20M this season).
Odom, Scola, Patterson, Dragic, Williams, Hill, and NYC's pick to NOLA Paul and Okafor to LA Gasol to Houston, who then cuts Thabeet and signs Nene PG: Lowry/Flynn SG: Martin/Lee SF: Budinger/Parsons PF: Nene/Morris C: Gasol/Motiejunas
I dont like this deal for the Lakers. Kobe and Paul will have to share the ball on the perimeter. Paul runs a great pick-and-roll, Kobe is great at iso. It's not like Kobe needs a great PG to create for him. They are both creators on the perimiter. All they will have on the interior is Bynum, who is pretty darn good, but gets injured all the time.
i understood you...i'm trying to figure out how much do the lakers clear per season by moving pau and odom.
again..the lakers aren't making this deal for next year alone. they're adding a player they can build around for the next 7 years or so. paul will have no problem attracting players to play with him.
