Guys, please go read the article on Mobley in the Chornicle. I didn't know it but Mobley has been hurt all season with his ankle. Maybe this is why he's been struggling. How can any REAL fans say his injury is a blessing. We could really use him out there. I think is the time for the other players to show up and show us what they can do. It should be fun to watch. I love the Rockets and I hate seeing people rip one of OUR own players. I hope he gets the ankle healed soon. He's a very good basketball player. What are other people's thoughts on what I've said?

If the man plays like he did towards the end of last season, no one will complain. Everyone in the spotlight has critics. It's just natural, don't worry about it.

I think Cuttino will improve once the team starts winning games by sharing the ball.I hope so anyway. It's very frustrating seeing him dribble into 2 defenders and throw up a prayer when there are 4 other guys on the floor..You can't blame that on an ankle.

Have you ever played basketball with a bad ankle? Give the man a break. He was probably acting in the best interest of the team. Otherwise he would have signed a contract with someone else. His talent is putting the ball in the net, if that helps his team win, then that's what he'll do. He'll develope a passing game if he wants to keep being a winner.

You are off your rocker like many people who complain about Cuttino are. He's averaging 3 less shots and his assists are going up. This "Cuttino shoots too much and doesn't pass enough" argument is getting old, tired, and frankly, it's lame.

Now that we know Cat has been playing hurt all of this time can we get off his back!

Now that we know Cat has been playing hurt all of this time can we get off his back!

The guy is a player and has always been a player and while others want to trade Cat I think we are all jumping the gun... It is obvious he has not been playing up to his abilities and the fact that he was placed on IR shows that the guy has been playing injured all this time!

So I want him to rest and come back strong... I like the Idea of Cat coming off the bench I think he is so explosive and would kill teams with his energy off the bench... Also now we know the motion offense somewhat and when Yao sits we could go back to that are he could be a part of that as well... Yao's emergence has given us so many options... And Cat off the bench gives us the best sixth man in the league...

Yes, get off his back, I agree.

But let him use the time on the IR to watch some tape of the Barry brothers ;).

I also have confidence in Cuttino's ability and no way do we trade him.

Is it better that a player plays through pain, but does poorly? Or is it better for him to take himself out so he won't hurt the team? I'm not saying that Mobley has become ineffective(see his game against Cleveland), but playing while injured isn't always a good thing.

In the game against Dallas he looked terrible and it had nothing to do with his ankle. Unless his ankle is directly connected to his brain's decision making skills. Our ball movement improves dramatically when he's out and there's no doubt why that is.

Man the rockets need Cuttino I see he has some haters but the man is the best shooter on the team and he isn't as ball hoggish as Francis he don't try to make things happen or be as aggresive as he could maybe its just cuz he is in a slump that everyone is on his back the man was playing with an injury cut him some slack man but thats good I wanna write all your names down that way when CaT comes back and get back on top of his game and proves he is the best jump shooter on the team then will see.

It's not that Cat isn't a good player or anything. I think he's an asset to any team. It's about the Rockets. They can't make much use of Mobley anymore. I love Mobz want him to succeed but it won't happen here in Houston. He needs to go where his offense is needed. RIGHT NOW mobley is the odd man out because his talent is one too many on this team.

This Cuttino bashing is SICK! Just because the Rockets have had good games while he was injured, i think people forget what he does during the whole season. Does anyone remember how hard he played while steve was out? Yes, the Rockets went on a long losing streak, but Cat was 20 points per game everynight. And he still continues to do that. Like I've been saying, people will regret it when and if Cat is gone.

It would be a mistake to trade Mobley.

If Mobley can make an adjustment to his game, everyone will benefit.

As his offensive game improves, Yao will create a ton of open looks. However, they have to have greater ball movement.

You should never get rid of a good scorer. You just have to channel him to shoot at the right time.

The best scorers are those that sneak up on you. Not the ones who are forcing things without first exploring other options.

People insult him because of his shot selection. Him chucking up crazy shots has nothing to do with his injury. He throws up crazy shots all the time and doesn't pass. If he is injured then why does he skill gun? He is a great player, but his shot selection sucks.
