Neither team really has any players that we can get for it to be better than it looks..

Only in the minds of delusional NBA only fans. if the Rockets start with Gasol/Navarro they just need to good role players and they will win an NBA championship.

Limit Gasol's minutes this year, tank and draft the next NBA superstar via draft.

WIth deal, Rockets would go from $8 to $11 mil in cap space. Can make it $16 with amnesty cut. Still in mix for Nene, who could stay in Den.

again they better not be 1st rounders from houston they better come from LA

or that 2nd rounder from the wolves would be fine to give up imo just want to keep the first rounders

i would love to have gasol here but to give up both quality players now and picks in a deep draft will hurt

Our team is weird in that trading away Scola Dragic and Martin we actually acquired Gasol, Terence Williams, J. Flynn, and more Courtney Lee

Hey there are more possibilities to lure people here now. We just got a center and proven player and have youth filling the roster now. We have options with money. There is a lot that can be done now.

I think the idea here is Gasol + cap room to get Nene or re-sign Chuck and a good role player. But I'd bet on Nene.

I trust him to find the next Pau too, they are just a lot damn harder to come by.

At least we'll pick up some national TV action. Lakers/Rockets will be a "Marquis match-up".

We give up two guys that can't play defense for a All-Star PF/C... Arguably a top 1-3 PF/C...

How is this not a freakin win?

It better be Navarro and not Rubio.

Now it seems this way. But it is a long way till the draft. Anything can happen.

If this trade makes us better...great. Otherwise, we will be worse, and I'm okay with that. The only legit veteran we have on our team now is Gasol. Unfortunately, I don't think this move is equivalent to tanking. Probably keeps us at the same level unless one of our youngs develops into something.

    The real question is this:

Does the trade make room for our leader Chuck Hayes?
