    If Butler stays healthy, this is a HUGE upgrade at SF for the Clippers. In addition to being talented, he's a veteran that will be cold-blooded and calm in crunch time.

    IMO, it immediately makes the Clippers a perennial playoff threat assuming the health of oft-injured Butler, Griffin and Gordon. But... it also ensures mediocrity in a way. They'll be handicapped cap-wise and wont be able to build via draft.

    Irving, Gordan, Butler, Griffin, Jordan/Kamen.

    Easily on par with OKC in terms of talent.

    Slightly overpaid, but solid signing. Clippers needed a quality SF, and Butler is a veteran to boot.

    They still got Kamen as bait to add a nice piece. Bledsoe will develop into a quality PG for them.

    If Griffin and Gordon continue to improve this team'll definitely make some noise next season. It does seem like a risky move though, Butler could be on the decline after having that surgery but it could pay off for them. I'm just happy he didn't sign with the Spurs.

    Watch this signing flop. I used to love him, but he's getting up there in age. And he's not a very good shooter either to compensate for it.
