He's been too quiet lately. Way too quiet. How many did he score against Dallas, 3? Aside from that run at the end of the 3rd vs. Denver, Mobley's been pretty much a non-factor (although I must say his defense of Finley last night was far superior to Glen Rice's). What happened to the best backcourt in the NBA? I know we're a more talented team and have more options than ever before, but I still want to see Mobley making his presence known in every game!
BAH! Mobley's fine... Mobley is a streak shooter. He does what all streak shooters do. When his jumper isn't falling, nobody wants him around. When he's hitting his jumper, though, he's almost unstoppable. Plus, he seems to use less effort to get to the basket than Francis, because of his long arms. He's also the team's best free throw shooter... His scoring is down because of Steve's increased scoring. Don't worry, he'll get in a hot streak and he'll end up hitting about 43-45% of his shots overall and should get up around 20 ppg. Plus, he's one of the best bargains among NBA shooting guards.
Mobley is not fine. He is injured. He is not listed for action tonight. Can't believe not one thread started about this. I give up. A-Train, prove your stuff and start one.
