Only teams under the Luxury tax able to make a bid. And highest bid wins. So if we wanted J-Rich, it would be for the 3 remaining years on his current contract: 11/12 $9,282,000 12/13 $10,164,000 13/14 PO-$11,046,000 STart the bidding @ 2m and we can have a backup for Bud!
LOL. they trade for his awful contract two years ago and have paid him $14,200,000 yr 1 $8,400,000 yr 2 now they have to pay him his $30,000,000. That's $52,000,000 for sucking!
http://eye-on-basketball.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/22748484/33741739 The Spurs will reportedly amnesty Richard Jefferson, which means he's eligible to go somewhere else. Where? The Clippers, Bulls and Heat are all supposedly in the mix, with the Nets also likely interested.
He was pretty awful the whole time he was with the Spurs. He's one of those guys that was a freak athlete but when that started to slide away he was left with just being a mediocre player. The Spurs are incredibly lucky they got to do this. They lost their minds when they gave him that contract.
How DARE you criticize the greatness that is Pop? You need to go to the Alamo and beg for forgiveness.
Caron plays more of the 2 than Deng. Caron played mostly as a 2 guard for the Mavs. Either way, the two of them on the wings should give Bulls fans a better feeling than Deng and one of Brewer/Bogans.
ChrisMannixSI Chris Mannix Richard Jefferson generating interest from several teams, source says. Most waiting for Jefferson to clear waivers before talking offer.
