that was my thought as well, we have to face it either we have to over pay a 2nd tier C to come here or get a high draft pick and draft a C or take a chance with a high reward (Oden)

Lets get a guy who plays less games than Yao! Not only that he had proved NOTHING in the NBA.

He's proven his look is older than Lebron's.

People are losing their minds, with recent frustrations of both Tracy and Yao do you think Alexander and or Morey is even considering Oden ? Hell to the no

Put me down for wanting some credit for Thabeet. I can't stand when people don't get a opportunity and everybody assumes he sucks.

I don't know where anyone gets the crazy idea that we could sign Oden and then apply the amnesty provision if it doesn't pan out. Teams can only apply amnesty to contracts that are pre-existing.

In any case, Oden would obviously injure himself while answering the phone call from his agent informing him of a Houston offer sheet anyways.

Oden hasn't really proved much, but anyway with eyeballs can tell that he would be a dominant force If he could ever get healthy. I'm pulling for him big time, but I'm not sure If I would want him on the Rockets.

(I do think it would be a pretty exciting move though.)

Dear Darwin that could be nasty...
    Greg Oden's per 36's are insane. 17 PPG, 13 RPG & 3.4 BPG...

He was missing wide open layups in a workout. At 7'0"+ you don't miss layups.

DD's Seal of Approval on Thabeet just destroyed his career.
I only hope we can sucker some fool into trading for him.

Yea, sure just ask Yao about that. He was injured for a century but we still build our team around him.

The Rockets staff is probably together right now laughing at themselves for even thinking Greg Oden.
