I think we should move Steve Francis to shooting guard to improve our defense.

I've been please with our defense to date. I'm not so sure how much you can look at a Dallas team doing what Dallas does better than any other team in the league and say that our defense is the weak link.

People who think Rudy is a liar need not read this following sentence: Rudy's opinion is that the defense is ahead of the offense, and we'll witness that again when Cato is the one giving Yao the breathers. The weak link continues to be the lack of sustaining focused offense and making our shots. Last night's first half was our best Motion ever. It was an actually, honest to goodness 5-man Motion Offense, with a capital M. Picking, Passing, Dribble Penetration and Dishing. Apparently, we couldn't sustain it against changing defenses without video recaps to learn from the next day. I'm with DearRock, though. I'm feeling good after seeing some sustained Motion that generated easy buckets. What continues to be missing is Mobley has to snap out of this 3pt shooting slump, but I sure love his ability to change his game to motion that showed again last night...Van Gundy "Mobley is making plays for his team"....just don't forget to make your open Js Cuttino. We need that 40% 3pt shooting back big time, so we don't have to field Glen Rice's lame ass defense so much.

    2K,

Of course Avery is better than MN. Since you are familiar with his game, you know we've never seen him drive to his right. MN should cut his left off and force him right. Defense is effort. Rox guards show little interest in playing D. Hawk hears the message loud and clear. Rudy should sit his guards until they get the same message.

That's exactly what I was saying last night, if your gonna foul them shooting, then at least TRY to cause them to miss the shot!
