Of course I like bluebonnetts in the sun... wild iris... and Colorado Columbine... especially in the backcountry.
Well, I love bougainvilleas, so I planted them ALL along my back fence (I have about 270 linear feet of fence). They won't cover the whole fence probably for another year or two, but when they do, it should be spectacular: I love my hot biscuits too: I had quite a few roses at my last house, but I don't have any yet at the new one. That will change in about two months. I'm going to put in a rose garden that's at least 700 square feet (the area behind my garage) I have a new plant that's just about the coolest thing ever. It's called the "pride of barbados" and it's apparantly the national flower of Barbados. It produces a bunch of seed pods, so I think I'm going to plant an area with a bunch of them. It's pretty impressive looking and definitely something different.
I have a black thumb and a Hoya is only the second type of plant i've ever been about to grow. Starting in the spirng they have these wonderful little flowers which continue through the summer and into late fall.
