Did Eduardo Najera make anyone else mad? He was undercutting Ming the whole night and had his arms all over him! His flopping abilities rival that of Vlade Divac.. Ming should've elbowed him in the mouth! Can anyone on the Rockets make a Lob pass.. hello!!! 6-10 fronting 7-6.. it would've worked everytime..Najera was crouched down backing into Ming..let's all say in One accord ..Lob it up..and Najera will quit that fronting shiznit!!

Thank God it only took Dan Langhi and a pick to get rid of that cancer.

Yeah, I wanted to hit him.

It was especially apropo (sp?) when Mark Cuban was on camera talking about all the calls Yao Ming was getting right as Najera 'draws a charge' and then 'draws a foul' on the other end of the court.

Najera is a physical player but he's not dirty and he leaves everything on the court every night. My only problem concerning Najera is that we traded him away.

Najera is one of those professional hackers. All great NBA teams had one: Kurt Rambus, Lambier, Oakley, Rodman, etc. Rox should get one too. Forget the wussy fouls KT was putting on out there.

I couldn't agree with your more. Najera was being very physical with Yao. I was scream at the ref for a foul call.

I think Yao was tired in the late fourth quarter. he wasn't moving around as much. I think offensively the rest of the team should feed Yao the ball when he is rested off the bench. He is most alert and active after resting up. Dame it.... they should feed ming the GodD#$# ball.

On a side note I kinda feel sorry for Bradely. Poor guy just got spanked by Yao in every way.

    Go Rockets!!!!

Najera was playing borderline dirty in this game. As Marv Albert said "When Najera is in the game, you get the feeling someone is gonna get whacked."

    His flopping was hilarious though.

Najera IS a dirty player. He's shoving, slapping, doing everything he can out of the ref's sightline to gain an advantage. Trust me. From watching this guy torch UT during his days at OU, last night brought back bad memories of how sick and furious he made us horn fans.

I can't respect that style of play, but, at the same time, i gotta give the guy some props because he seems to be making a solid career for himself out of it.

If you're gonna play that way, at least be stand-up about it. Najera was gesticulating at Yao after pulling him down.

it really is too bad we traded him away because he is exactly the kind of player that this team needs. a hard nosed, bust your ass, hustle till you collapse type guy. he is competent on offense, can rebound well, and can play defense that is annoying as hell. it really is too bad that we traded him away. but that is in the past.

Yeah. The way Nejara was playing against Ming last night reminds of the final between China and Korea in the Asian game. It was no fun to see a player constantly hacking around without much basketball skills.

even that, as I said before, Nejara can not defend ming, ming was just too tired to run in the forth quater, and this guy then claim he had good defense against ming. Where was he the second quater?

I totally agree. Maybe Jason Collier can fill this role. He's got the bruiser size and look. Someone ought to sit him down and talk to him and tell him he needs to be the enforcer out there and protect Yao. By that a mean a couple of tough shoves and facial elbows right at Najera. Distract him from going at Yao.

Najera plays cheap. He's a Mavs fan favorite cause he does the dirty work. That's also why opposing fans hate him. He gets away with a lot of reaching in trying to create turnovers. He inadvertently elbows and slaps people's cabezas. I just wanna tell him to calm the f down before he takes out someone's eye...he's wild.

Najera, is everything we want in out backup forwards!!!

I think Ming was tired.. I also think that the Rockets could've made Najera their B!tch.. He was flopping everywhere..I think he flopped on Francis.. I think the towel boy went out on the floor and Najera fell to a knee..

Rudy has got to be ready for this type of defense..if they put a talentless, no-skilled bruiser in to bang Ming.. just throw it over the top..there will almost always be a foul on the entry pass if Ming doesn't get the ball.. We need to prepare for this cause the rest of the league saw the game last night... and somebody punch Najera in the throat for me just once:mad:

This Najara clown was grabbing, pulling, and clawing Ming and other ROX's players like a little girl.....and some people call him a defensive stopper, what a joke!! Ming should have "inadvertently" elbow or knee this fruit-cake in the groin!!;)

I'm glad to see that a lot of people share my dislike of Najera.. I thought I had an anger management problem.. I seriously wanted to choke the life out of him...or put a 7'5 elbow right between his eyes!!!

What else could a sub 7 footer do to stop a 7'5" giant that can play?

Unless, the NBA officials start calling the games tighter, those that play against yao will have to pull every trick out of their bags, of course short of punching Yao in the Nose on purpose!!!

You can't blame najera, he didn't get called for the fouls. So, blame the ref's. They allowed for that style of play. Blaming Najera is cheap.
