Have all my exams in February and then got 3 months off, so imma look for the half season package somewhere at the end of Feb.
I'll get it regardless. 1) Can't get Rocket games any other way in clear quality here in CA 2) Needs to follow the league b/c I'm an NBA fanatic But it needs to be cheaper in general. Should be $99 for a whole 82-game season
LIving in CA the only I way I can watch Rockets games is with League Pass. I've got to get it. I was seriously thinking about doing Extra Innings instead, because of the strike but with the Astros move to AL in 2013, I just didn't have the incentive. By purchasing League Pass I'll get the MLB channel so I'll use that to keep up with baseball like I've always done. I hope the pricing will be adjusted. It should be. If I was paying to go to games I'm not seeing as many games so I would have bought fewer tickets. On TV I'm not seeing as many games either.
Yes you get FSN Houston, but the Rockets games are blacked out. I found this out the hard way last season.
I need to get it, I'm upgrading my computer too with an ELITE GFX card  Plus, I'm getting a 27" monitor so it would look like I'm watching on a TV online!
yeh, I'll get it, but probably only the smaller 7-team package that usually comes out. i think its half the price and you pretty much get to see any game you want anyways since "ONE" of your 7 teams could be playing anyone, teams you dont want to watch could be on tv playing another team you didnt care to add, and so on. I think it was 70-80$ last year, still worth it. Being in DFW now, def need my late night Rockets fix. This lockout is killing my late year need.
Any news on this yet? For the first time, I might settle for the 7-team package because the primary teams I follow will have fewer nights off.
Ive never used NBALP since I had Directv, but I just dumped them a couple of months ago during lockout because basketball is all I basically got it for. Question: If I do get NBALP living here in Houston, will I be able to watch Rockets games? Ive heard that the Rockets games are blacked out in Houston. Is it true?
Finally moving to CA from Guam. Can I only get League Pass from Direct TV or can I get from other subscribers like AT&T, Time Warner?
Ok that's good to hear. When I saw games online when nba.com had those free previews, I was only able to watch the games with no commentary but a different camera angles, so that's why I was asking. Thanks though.
Yes, I'm pretty sure that is the case. I live in San Antonio and have had league pass for the past three or four seasons and they always black out the Spurs games on league pass.
I've always gotten it online, and never had it with the TV package. I'll be at work most of the time and was thinking of buying an IPAD2 to watch the games while at work (when free of course). But congrats on the move to Cali.
hey, does anyone have a recommendation for a tv box to pull league pass broadband onto my tv? (one that can be used in multiple countries is a plus since i wont be living in the US again til next season)
