If Morey really said that - he has proven himself to be a hack. Even people with the most basic and casual Euroleague knowledge would know that Motiejunas' Euroleague numbers are greatly inflated due to the team he plays on.

There really is no hope for the Rockets with the current GM.

It's only been a quarter, but Motiejunas looks bad today. Focus & energy level not there. Bad on defense. Passive on offense.

    I blame the Polish nightlife.

It's not a cakewalk level of competition like Olimpija or Galatasaray. It's actually a good team with at least one very good PF - although their second PF sucks.

With that said, always keep in mind Euroleague is just one game a week. When guys have injuries it always skews how they could play. I don't know if he is injured or not. But you never know. Most likely he just struggled against an actual good Euroleague team and not some of the crap teams he was playing.

But you never know about injuries. I just watched the Olympiacos - Fener game and Spanoulis got injured rather badly in the 2nd minute of the game. And he played pretty awful the whole way after that because he was clearly injured.

Antic played a couple minutes and never got back on the floor again.......due to an injury.

Looking at the game or the box score it would seem they were awful, but it was caused by injuries.

Most likely Motiejunas is just struggling because he's playing an actual legit team...but then again after just seeing that game where two guys got injured and it affected them during the game, it's always a possibility to keep in mind.

Nah, I don't think it has anything to do with Barcelona. He just looked out of sync from the first minute on. Like he was sleep walking or something.
I don't know if he's injured or sick. It's possible, but I'm not gonna make exuses for the guy.
Who knows. Unless he looks this bad the next few games, I'm not worried.

Don't let him bother you. He's just a troll. He says stuff like that just to get people to react and derail threads. Just put him on ignore.

Watch the Cantu - Baskonia game instead. Leunen and Dragic are playing in that. And it's a way better game.

Just be forewarned that Dragic has played awful ever since he came back to Europe.

Morey would be laughed out of any European basketball coaching or GM circle if he told them Motiejunas was already for sure one of the 10 best players in Europe. What he said is not only asinine and ridiculous.....it's actually downright scary that the Rockets have such an imbecile as that running them.

The gap between these two teams is as the standings say, the best one toying the hell out of the worst one.

That's what I've been saying here. Motiejunas' stats on Prokom are totally meaningless. On an actual good Euroleague team he would probably be playing 10 minutes a game.

I don't think this forum understands what an epic scrub team he plays on.
