His attitude just sucks, he is a guy that is all about the show, and not about trying to do everything to win a game. He has athleticism out the wazoo, but he has to mature, because he is looking like JR Rider light right now. DD
I can tell deep down that you like this kid, but i know it's hard. I feel the same way. Hopefully he will get the playing time to surprise us. I hope he is not traded before then.
I like that he has all the physical tools it takes to be a major star, but none of the maturity. And the playgrounds are littered with guys that are athletic as hell but not mature enough to be counted on. That to me is where he is heading...he keeps blaming everyone else for holding him down, when the only one that is doing that, is himself. DD
I think he has until the trade deadline to get his act together. If he doesn't, he's going to be packaged away in a trade or just let go at the end of the season.
Hopefully Kevin McHale and Co. will have an impact on him and he turns things around. I'm just glad we're finally going to see what he's got this season.
It's hard to have a better shooting percentage when you can't shoot. It's like saying "Man, the Rocket would have really been good if Rafer could have shot a better percentage for his career!" My hopes for T-Will aren't high unless he found a jumper that he never had thru college and during his 2000 minutes of NBA playing time. If you combine that with his ability to make reckless decisions with the ball and his complete inability to play basketball without the ball in his hands then my expectations really plummet. ...And I haven't even brought up his 10 year old child maturity level. He might make it in the league, but I can't see it being with the Rockets. He is just too much of a project.
I was so excited when the rockets got TWill last year really think he can be a special player. As you guys have eluded to he is all about the show, absolutely loves himself. If he's as driven as he goes on about in his YouTube clips, he will ditch that ***** and be like Kobe and let his actions in practice and on the court do the talking! If he can't figure it out this year he never will. I really hope we see a breakout year from TWill.
