I interned at a hematology/oncology clinic before and it can be very saddening sometimes. Success stories like this are always amazing to me! Congrats!
That is great news, IROC. My soundman's wife is a cancer survivor and it's amazing seeing them together now. They've been married for decades and have kids and grandkids together....yet now they look like a couple of high school kids who can't keep their hands off each other. It's amazing how the relationship changes (for the better) once you experience hell together and come out fine on the other side. Congrats again!
Great news dude! I am almost 2 years cancer free now... I love hearing about others who survive it! -E
Sweet! My cousin passed from (colon) cancer at the ripe age of 34, so anytime I hear someone beat the hell out of their cancer...it's great to hear.
Thanks, everyone. For those that had negative endings to their cancer experiences... I've had that, too. My mom passed in '94 after Ovarian cancer. It more than sucks. But God is still good. It's that Enemy that we gotta blame for stealing, killing and destroying.
Great to hear! I have a friend who is battling cancer right now so news like this is really heartening.
Congrats man! Make sure to stay on top of those checkups, my grandma was cleared of breast cancer, started having pains again and sadly didn't go back in for checkups as soon as she shouldve, turned out it was bone cancer this time and it had hit level 2 by the time she went. She passed this past January. I try to advise anyone going through anything cancer related to stay on top of things, it's crazy the difference a few hours can make in helping stop the spread.
