bodog is good. I personally use bookmaker, 5dimes, and heritagesports. but it really depends on what you're looking for.

sportsbookreview.com is one of the most reliable sources for sportsbook information, and it's a great place to start.

and since the other forum isn't frequented as much, anyone know good fantasy basketball for money. Basically something like Yahoo but reliable that you can put cash into so it remains extremely competitive

I use betdsi.com but I think I'm the only one. I love it. Free and quick ACH payouts. Usually don't gamble on the NBA though. Especially in a shortened season. Just askin' for trouble.

Bodog is good but they make you jump through hoops to cash out. Copy of driver's license, credit card, etc, etc.

NBA is tricky to cap. Best of luck. Some times players will literally take games off. Back to backs are always good to look at, by betting against the team with that 2nd game in 2 days. With B-B-B happening this year, that will be something to consider as well. But the books will adjust to this. Trust me they know more than you ever will about the sport, the league and the lines they are offering. Best of luck, you will need it.

I have no expirience personally, but maybe this will help you out (the guy bets on NBA games for a living):

    haralabob Haralabos Voulgaris
i loathe when crappy sportsbooks like bodog trick good writers into linking their sportsbook in preseason "odds to win title" articles.

    haralabob Haralabos Voulgaris
@TrueHoop you can mention the odds at "sportsbooks" without naming them or linking to them. Can't really rec'd any books bc 98% of suck

    haralabob Haralabos Voulgaris
@TrueHoop if you had to pick one - I'd go with Cantor gaming out of Las Vegas (they run the M casino sbook) at the very least they are legal

    haralabob Haralabos Voulgaris
.@TrueHoop most of these offshore places nowadays won't take a bet, will kick you out if you win, and if you are a sucker gouge you on lines

    haralabob Haralabos Voulgaris
.@fnava621 i don't rec'd sportsbooks. There is no "best" sportsbook, only least worst.

5Dimes is good if because they have the reduced juice program. Also, good on payouts. Bodog is a good book to have if you like betting underdogs, these guys always inflate their lines when it comes to favorites. Betus is I hear is terrible when it comes to payouts, delay after delay.

I wouldn't bet on NBA games, way more risk/luck involved.
I'd go with soccer, football, tennis, nhl bets.
