He's only 22 and he's from here. All Morey has to do is slide him a contract while his mom and high school buddies chant "do it!", at the same time a giant bag of dough AND a Rockets throwback with his name and number will be presented to him by Clyde Drexler and Hakeem. How could he resist?

If we can get him I'd go all in for him.

There are only two centers who I'd go "all in" for in FA.

    One's a Spaniard and one's a Brazilian.

Jordan is not someone you go all in for.

I'd be in favor of it, depending on how much we overpay. Because any restricted big man you're going to have to overpay for. It's just a matter of how much.

Gasol isn't going anywhere and Nene isn't even a true Center. He's a 4 trapped in a big man's body.

I hope you're talking about Marc Gasol and not his softie brother Pau...
    And Verajao? Seriously?

EDIT: Didn't know that Nene was Brazilian.

No, NO, A THOUSAND TIMES NO!

Deandre Jordan was a 7/7 player last year. His only skill is dunking. I do not want him on the Rockets.

DeAndre Jordan should be on the short list of most overrated players in the league. I'd argue his best case scenario is merely another Tyson Chandler, and I'd think there's a better chance he'll be another Erick Dampier. Someone is going to throw 8, 9 million dollars at the guy. And someone will regret it.

NO. Hes incredibly overrated. very low IQ. Foul prone. He has about a dozen unbelieveable monster games but outside of that unreliable

I changed my mind to no.,These two guys who posted above me have me convinced of the same thing. Too much money for an overrated center.

From a pure basketball standpoint I'd love to have him on the roster. He is young, athletic, and has great size. He also is a great rim protector last year and that's the main thing we need. Unfortunately it would take more money than he's worth to pry him away from the Grizzlies so I don't see it as a viable option.

The 4 or power forward is a big man position. Why can't he play the 5 anyways?
