Hey, was just wondering what people thought about the subject..

Which of the three Texas teams will be the next to get an NBA Title?

We have two already, SA got one (with an asterisk, remember),
    and Dallas is still waiting.

As it stands right now, Dallas is the best team of the three, but
does that really translate into genuinely contending for the ring?
I still don't think they match up well with LA at full strength, or Sac.

And SA is teetering right now, and if Duncan goes away in the
offseason, then they will be a long time returning (if ever). And
Houston has a great young core, and some promising talent that
should be here for a while..

It may take a couple more years at least, but I bet Houston gets
another title before either Dallas or SA do.

    Whaddya think?

    ciao

I'd say the Mavs have a good chance this year.

If the Mavs don't win it all this year, then I think their chances will drop. We will obviously be even more competative next year and the Lakers won't start off slow unless Shaq or Kobe get injured. So the Mavs have it now, but next year the Rockets will be more favored in my opinion.

The Rockets, simply because we are the youngest, and hopefully will peak as the laker dynasty fades away.

I would like to say the Rockets.

My heart says the Rockets...but my head says the Mavericks.

They are very convincing. 11-0 is pretty hard to argue with...

They are just too damn solid offensively! Dirk, Finley, and Nash are all capable of 20 a game RIGHT NOW(As opposed to Steve, Cuttino, Eddie/Yao in the future). And they are winning easily without their best center(Though, Lafrentz hasn't impressed me too much).
