Wouldn't it be more efficient to build smaller wider pyramids to capture more rain? No need to build tall ones...just build short ones with a wider base, more rain would be captured. DD
If he's claiming that that was the primary purpose of the pyramids, then that's really an overkill solution.
My guess is it's more difficult to build wider ones. The water would also reach the bottom more quickly and it would be more likely to overflow. To the OP, i thought this was a known theory, so what do you mean it hasn't been thought of before? Making the model, you mean?
