That was a fun movie regardless, but the Bill Murray cameo was definitely the cherry on top. I saw it in the theatre, and everyone pretty much died laughing when he said the "Garfield" line.
A lot of good ones. I would have to say Groundhog Day in the long run. Very closely followed by Scrooged. It's become one of my favorite Christmas movies
And also Groundhog Day and Ghostbusters. Whenever I'm flipping through the channels and one of these movies is on I'll end up watching them.
So many. Kingpin, Lost In Translation, Life Aquatic, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, Stripes, Ghostbusters, Caddyshack, etc., etc.
Thinking back, he really had done quite a few great movies. My top 3 are: Meatballs Stripes Groundhog day although I thought he was brilliant in Rushmore, for some reason its hard for me to classify it as a Bill Murray movie, because it was Wes Andersons direction that really made Bill Murray great in that film.
Where's the love for Caddyshack? I love Ghostbusters, but if we're talking specifically Bill Murray's character/acting and not the movie as a whole, it's gotta be this for me: Groundhog Day Kingpin CaddyShack What about Bob Ghostbuster Tenenbaums Rushmore Life Aquatic Wasn't a big fan of Lost in Translation.
Ghostbusters is far an away #1, so many great lines. #2 would be Rushmore, I still die laughing when he goes and blocks the shot by the little kid. #3 is Groundhog Day, that is one of the most rewatchable movies I've seen. All of this movies are great though (although Broken Flowers didn't do much for me)
No major order: Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, Meatballs, What About Bob, Stripes ...I'd add Lost in Translation, but I didn't really notice him in the movie Spoiler
I think Caddyshack if it counts as a Bill Murray movie is #1. Most underrated is the Man Who Knew Too Little. I'm glad to see love for it here. Where the Buffalo Roam is probably the second most underrated. Other greats include... Rushmore Stripes Meatballs GhostBusters And the list could just keep going on.
that character is so great and he plays it just perfect. BM: Hi Lady: Hello BM: Not you. Hi (to the lady next to her)
