i think a guy who has clearly created mismatches and has the kind of shooting touch he does should already be getting 10 shots a game, but i know he is still getting adjusted and all that. so what do yall think?

I say within the next 10 games.

The problem is, NO ONE WANTS TO POST UP ON THE BLOCK!

    Someone please....post up.
Can we please learn how to take advantage of mis-matches.
With MoTaylors offensive capabilites and body, who from yesterday's game would have stopped him......Hill?

And if Ming is shooting like he has been the last couple of games, feed him the ball down low. Make the other team feel that they have to worry about an inside presence, bring some balance to this offense.
It's frustrating to know we have big men with talent, but they're always above the free throw line.

Sorry to get off topic, but this is an issue no one really talks about on the forums.

I tottally agree, that is what i have been complaing about since I saw my first game. Yao always just hangs around the free throw line and sometimes even worse... the 3pt line! he should put his body down near the rim, turn around with his arm in the air to show he wants the ball. and MOTAY, he is doing great. When MoT is on the floor Yao appears to post up more, and Taylor feeds him the ball alot too. In an interview about this Taylor said it's cause he and Yao are on the same team in practice scrimiges and he feeds the ball to Yao at the post alot in practice. they talk and have good communication between each other.

I don't get why we don't run plays around Yao, when he has a 6-10 player guarding him. He needs to get more minutes, and have plays run around him more often.

We definately need to begin to design more low post offense for Yao Ming.

    He's already:

    a. A smart player
    b. A good passer
    c. A good shooter
    d. Has good hands
    e. Can see over the defender
    f. Has good footwork
    g. Has more than one go to move
    h. Is willing to work within the offense
    i. Is unselfish

If he can pass out of double and triple teams do it, because if we feed him in the post know one can stop him consistantly one on one.

As always, just hold tight and keep watching! We know that Yao knew how to score in China. He's learning the NBA game now. Give him time. Last night was hilarious to me because every time we had the ball and he was in, there he was setting that Pick and Roll. LIKE EVERY TIME! It was beautiful. He's getting comfortable with that. And it works. (Gotta be strange to be 6-3, and turn around and run headfirst into some guys chest.) I think he's getting little projects to focus on for now, and soon he'll be able to pick and roll, or go down in the post, post up and toss a sky hook. I think the defense is the next focus though. i think the next couple of games you'll see the pick and roll on offense, and a more controlled game on defense. IT's been fun so far, and I'm looking forward to the growth to continue.

Since he only play limited time, i wish when he comes in they feed him like a buffet. Its also clear that he sets the best picks on the team. I just wish when he rolls, the guards would pass him the ball a little more. 10 shots a game and he would easily avg 12-14 pts. I really wish when the cavs went small, thy would have fed him the ball more.

The answer is EASY. None of the above. The guy just simply needs minutes. He has grasped things faster than the organization has thought he would. Forget what the ignorant fans say. With playing time, comes scoring time. The guy's field goal percentage is sick, and will continue to be. I just hate it when people report, he only had 9 points, look at the field goal shots he took. With time come shots come points.
