So far this year the Rockets have beaten every team that currently has a losing record and have lost to every team that currently has a winning record.

Phoenix who will probably be at 5-4 tonight and is the worst team out of our three losses, was a one point game.

I think this is pretty good because I believe we have more room to get better this season than most of the other teams in the league.

I like the beatles reference in the name, but remember, beating bad teams is a good thing, beating good teams is a playoff thing.

It's also a good thing that our losses have come from teams that have a lot of talent, though we should have beat Phoenix. Indiana and Seattle are just looking really good right now. The Rockets do need time, 2 or 3 games over .500 at the break will make me happy. We honestly have more room for improvement this year than anyone because we have Yao, Eddie and depth.

I don't think our record is deceptive and I think we may hover around .500 early on (next 15 games or so), I just see us getting better later, and I'm happy with our start.

The only team that outright beat us so far was Seatle and again Payton had to have a record breaking game to do so. When I looked at our schedule and new what we had ahead of us I was hoping we would be .500 after 20 games. I thought after 20 games we would be much more experienced playing together and then we could turn that corner and still make a serious run for a playoff spot...

Well we are ahead of my schedule and while we still have a tough schedule ahead if we can be above 500 after 20 games I will consider that a major accomplishment... We are a young team who hasn't had a chance to play together like Dallas and Seatle but we are already looking impressive and we will only get better... I don't want to jinx anything but this Rockets has the chance to be one of the most explosive teams in the NBA and when you put an explosive team like ours in the playoffs... Well let's just say I wouldn't want to face us in the first round.

Also, so far there is a pattern in our wins and losses. LWWLWWLWW, If that continues we'll be a shoe in for the playoffs. Of course, I'd hate to lose to Dallas.

So far we are on pace for 54 wins, that's great. What I like is that they have been very consistent it's not like the Rockets are hot right now they just play good ball. I of course stick to my 50 win prediction, and hope that things go well in our first Texas rivalry tommorow night. BTW is Cato back tomorrow tonight?

I agree that we haven't had a real quality win (other than Portland)...however, what stands out more is that i think 3 or 4 of our wins were against teams that were playing the 2nd game of a back to back night (i.e Port at S.A, then the next night, they come to play us).

I don't want to take away from our record, but I agree, I'd love to get a few more quality wins..starting with this Thursday
