"There a lot of teams interested (in Taylor) and they should be", said Rudy. "He's very talented and he's young. He would be a great addition. Hopefully we can get it worked out." I think he just gave Falk more reason to have Taylor hold out a little longer. Way to go, Rudy. ------------------ Ugh, Another Rockets off-season....I'm gonna need a keg of Pepto-Bismol.
Or, Rudy has a deal with the Clippers worked out, and he's just trying to humble Mo/Falk, by daring other teams to try to get a S/T with the Clips (because they've said they're not taking on more players). ------------------ The Serious Police are watching. Well, we know the Rockets want MO.. Now, does MO want us? ------------------ president of the dan langhi fan club.
I considered that, I'm just not sure its within Rudy's character to do those kind of things. I guess I'm just more apt to beleive he screwed up, don't know why. ------------------ Ugh, Another Rockets off-season....I'm gonna need a keg of Pepto-Bismol.
I think that a sign and trade for Taylor is imminent. I said it before the deadline lst season and I am going to reiterate: Lets get Maggette! If I were Rudy I would trade anyone short of Steve, Mobes, SA, Dream, Cato or our draft pix in a deal for a signed Taylor and Maggette (this guy is going to battle Kobe fore the next ten years). I would go so far as to pick up some of LACs scrubs (ie Closs). Maybe KT,Drew,+ 4.5 exception for Taylor, Maggette, and Closs? ------------------
Somebody has got to break the ice on MO Taylor issue, and no doubt in mind that he could be the player that we need to fill in the power forward spot. I won't be surprised if Rudy T will pull this one off to land MO to the rockets. ------------------ Rudy T. will find and fulfill Rockets destiny.

I have seen in several places the proposal to send the approximately 4.5 million in trade exception credit (Pppen trade & Francis trade) to the Clippers as part of a sign-n-trade package for M Taylor. The following question is ONLY for those suggesting the above idea. How would that idea of sending the trade exception credit to the Clippers work? Mango ------------------ 1. Maggette went to the Clippers on June....oh, hell, when was the draft? 28th? 30th? So when can he be traded? Or should we just worry about Mo? ------------------
Geez, As if it were bad enough that Clipper reject seems destined for Rockets PJ's, now there's talk of a sign-and-trade. Talk about a ugly turning hideous. I'd rather let the exemption expire than waste it on Falk's pet monkey. Let him play for peanuts or don't let him play at all. ------------------ It doesn't matter if I have a signature!
Many NBA sources are saying that Taylor wants to be a free agent next year. Sign and trades must be a minimum 3 year deal so we may not get Taylor this year but have an excellent shot at him next year. ------------------
The guy was pretty good in NBA2K...I think Rudy's using the ol "videogame" scouting trick. ------------------ We will ball.
Mo is only 23 years old so I do not think it is out of the question he can improve defensively and increase his rebounding average. A frontcourt of Cato and Taylor can be pretty impressive in a couple of years after both have improved their games and matured a little. If we acquire him it will be a drastic step toward the rebuilding process though I am a little hesitant about dealing with falk and if he screws us, we need to send a couple of lackeys to break both of his legs; along with Eckels of course!!
