He's 4-5 from the field and 1-2 from the stripe. Good for 9 points, to go with 2 blocks and 6 boards

    Grumble.

Cavs take out Z, Rudy takes out Yao immediately after. I'm thinking it was to even up the matchups... about 30 (game) seconds later, Z is back in.

    And where is Yao?

Sittin' apparently. I refuse to believe Yao Ming can't 'handle' 20 minutes of playing time. Let the guy get a few more minutes in a game the Rockets are in great shape to win (especially since he's been helping).

Bad decision to take Yao out. So far he has played a good D on
    Ilgauskas.

I don't think he's played that well defensively at all... but I do think he was getting valuable experience in playing him. He needs game experience against centers like this.

Ilgauskas is pissing me off with that elbow of his and Davis showing good D on Francis.

The Rockets really need to get their offense back on track. I couldn't watch this game(following it over the internet), but it looks pretty ugly. I'm not too sure of our chance against Dallas on Thursday.

Kind of odd that at the beginning of the season, most people are worrying about their defense.

And as much I'd love another 20 pt performance from Ming, tonight's line is something I'm perfectly fine with: 9 pts on 4-5 shooting and 6 rebounds in 17 minutes.

Wow! I was really close with my score prediction!

    my prediction:
    Rockets 98
    Cavs 79

    final score:
    Rockets 97
    Cavs 80

Maybe I oughta start putting money on these games :p

We MUST beat Dallas. The Mavericks' schedule has been a creampuff so far this season. It's time for them to start dealing with loss.

Mobley is a player who is perfectly capable of taking over a game, just as he did tonight. He owned the Cavs in the fourth quarter and pretty much single-handedly put the lead out of reach. Cat gets DCkid's Player of the Game! He even got 4 assists!

I also was impressed with Eddie's rebounding. He had a solid outing with 17 points and 10 boards.

It was also good to see Moochie and Rice only get 9 minutes each.

Cat was just MONEY in the 4th, he took over. He just hit big shot after big shot and tore the Cavs heart out, and Francis just cleaned up the slaughter. The backcourt was just clutch, and they combined to give us 37 points and 12 assist. These guys are deferring BIG TIME, and the offense is so balanced. This team is going to be special. Now all we have to do is get Morris healthy, get Rice back in the groove, and get Nachbar some playing time.

The frontcourt was also awesome, 17 points 10 boards and ablocks for Griffin, and off the bench Mo gave us 9 points, 7 boards and 4 assist and 2 block shots, yes two block shots for Mo!

The first thing I want to know is Francis injured?
The Game was a strange reminder of last year, so much 'Dribblemania'why cant the ball be passed up the court? MoT plays well with Yao Ming, still the Guards do not! Too much selfish play by the Guards for my liking. This game was as close to Team Basketball as I have seen this season! It doesn't say much as there is so much team chemistry left to develop.I expect it will take till about the mid-way to get all the defensive problems worked out to Rudy T's standard.

Only ten shots by STeve? Goukas was a good announcer. He called Z for hooking several times. He also complimented Steve quite a bit for giving up the ball. He could have had a few more assists.

Also, I know Steve had 6 TO's, but were they from being careless? One was because he was thumbed in the eye during a rebound.

    Yes.

Francis is trying to run this team the RIGHT WAY.

He's done a good job the last three games.
Even the loss against the Suns.

When the game got close he still got his
teammates involved. This wouldn't had happned last year.

By the way, the Suns and the Lakers got
    their clocks cleaned tonight!
