    So if your point is which is more valuable (the tradition or money), don't you think it is relevant what started the destabilization of the Big 12? If you are going to debate the "wisdom" (for lack of a better word) of the LHN then you shouldn't start by stating that is caused the Big 12 to destabilize when that is not true. Maybe you think I am being overly pedantic but I think it is an important point.

    Also, it should be stated that, according to all reports I've heard, ESPN approached UT about the network, not the other way around. UT wasn't actively seeking this out, it was offered. Any team offered the same deal would have jumped all over it.
