    Maybe it's just luck?

It was very odd play, I could not believe that he is the guy falled in the game vs Phoenix.

I think it shows the touch that Ming has. He gets the ball a little too close to the basket while he's running, and almost loses it when he brings it up. He gets ahold of it though, and lays it in. Skill. Is that the play you're talking about, the 3pt play?

Shark, it's not obligatory or a civil duty to open a new thread every 5 minutes. If you don't have a lot to say, take a rest a little. It's really annoying people feel they have to say something, no matter how stupid that is.

Falling when guarding a guard and catching a not-so-accurate pass with good hands and finish are totally different things. That shows Ming can run the floor, has good hands, quick reaction, and good body control--all important things for a big man and exactly things people touted about him. A bit of luck? maybe. But it's certainly not just luck. In fact, Steve praised Ming of his ability to catch the ball after the game.

Yeah..... it was total luck. If fact, I am feeling kind of lucky... maybe I ought to go run the break with Steve. If all it takes is luck baby, I've got it in spades:cool:

I could jack up some half courters too...

My HS football coach used to say "Men... luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity."

Yeah, it was luck. Francis was lucky to have a big man with the skill and soft hands to convert his bad pass into a basket -- thereby giving an undeserved assist to a PG with less-than-stellar assist stats.

No hating -- lots of love for Yao, and just ribbing the best scoring PG in the game.

Marbury could cross anyone....but Ming is the most athletically gifted big man that the league has seen in a while.

Great players make the players around them better (erase mistakes of others).

    Yao make Francis better! :D

As opposed to an "overserved" assist... :p ;)
