On NBATV last night, they did a segment on Dream. OCt 27th was the debut of Dream as a Rocket.

Not looking for flaming, but I do think there's some parallel between The Dream's career and Kobe's.

    Seriously, it's frighteningly similar:eek:

This guy is amazing. Knows how to move with balance and grace (skillz). The big guys now are Weetarded... literally. How can guys lacking so much fundamentals and knowledge of the game be selected to play in the NBA? It's obvious some don't even know how to play the game properly.

Hakeem became our leader over the years and when we finally came together as a team through the painful trials, it was inevitable that we would win a NBA Championship.
    Great documentary.

Dream, hands down my favourite player of all time. Had it all as a big man, the footwork, the finesse and the ferocity. Thanks for posting it RTM. I plan to watch the other documentaries on that youtube channel as well.

I wasn't born when Kareem was playing, but its interesting to see he that he was able to establish his will on the rockets, even against a young, freakishly athletic Dream. Just a hypothetical question here,

Would you take Dream over Kareem at their peaks? I was hoping for our seasoned viewers of this board to provide me with a better perspective and comparison between the two. Particularly how Kareem played for the rest of the 1986 WC finals and during the regular season too.

Hakeem and Dwight seem to be a lot closer, you have the rise to the Finals that they didn't realistically have a chance to win early on in their career, followed by a descent of bad luck and bad gm'ing that leads to being playoff roadkill.
