I think the writing is on the wall, the only question is whether we're going to get a full 82 game schedule.
Hell yes he is, I would love him to be the Rockets owner, over Le$ Alexander. And Cuban has a lot to lose, his team is OLD, they need to win now. DD
Stern's threats to cancel this and cancel that have been flimsy at best... the deadlines have not meant anything. Knowing the thirst both parties have for that cash, I think they'll try to squeeze in an 82-game schedule if they can get this thing hammered out pretty soon.
http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/216112/Silver_Opens_Door_To_82_Game_Schedule Maybe an 82 game schedule is still in the works. Being that they have not shot that idea down 100% just yet.
That would be amazing and agree about Stern, he is like the guy screaming in the corner, and everyone is ignoring him. DD
New mid-level contracts start at $5 million with a maximum length of 3 years. Like I said, there will be NBA this season, it will start on time, there will be an 82 game season... Bring my thread up please!
I still don't think there will be a 82 game season because didn't Stern say that there would been to be a 30day offseason? I don't see why though, the NFL squeezed it's offseason down to like a week and it was a very exciting period. I just hope they are playing games in November.
Killed Osama and the NBA season is saved under his term, I say he should get a shot at an unprecedented 3rd term. Since you know, he gets an auto extension for a 2nd term for that Osama thing.
Jonathan_FeigenJonathan Feigen XMas? Ho ho ho. RT @WojYahooNBA: Talks on 50-50 BRI split broke down, talks ended, source tells Y! No new meetings scheduled. Huge setback.
