Whooooweee! [IMG] Man, that was an awesome game. Stoyakovic (I think) really stepped up when J-Dubs and C-Webb were out. It's just a pity that KB had to go lucky and make that last shot. I think that Sac-town had this game won till about 2 minutes left in the 4th when they let Rider and Shaw come down and hit treys. Did ya'll see Rider?? This is his second game I've seen and he looks pretty damn good. I never knew he was a 3 pt threat. As for defense on Shaq from the Kings, I think that if Vlade had just jumped straight up, he could've done a better job at defending Shaq. Same thing happens when they come to Houston and play Dream. Dream gets beat 1st quarter, I yell at TV, Dream jumps and boom, Shaq gets held to under 20 points. Anyways, I'm really getting off the topic but I just wanted to say that Stoyakovic is looking real good. He gives me flashes of Toni Kukoc in his days with the Bulls of old.

Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Langhi at the buzzer.......YES!!! How Sweet It Is!!

Stojavo whatever it is, he has gotten alot stronger. He is more aggressive, I also do see flashes of a young kukoc. But i also see kobe as a young you know who. Even though i hate kobe. [IMG]

Anybody remember when Predrag was drafted ? I thought it was a throwaway pick. Too soon to tell, but he could be better than Toni.

I LOVE KOBE!!! That game was EXCELLENT.

Stojakavic is MUCH improved...I said I wouldn't believe it until I saw it. Now I see it.

Bryant did remind me of someone...faintly...

Peja was impressive...if only he'd had enough presence to dish it to Vlade when O'Neil blocked his last shot..there was no weakside rotation that I saw.

IMHO Peja plays much better D than Toni.

You can't mention this game without a comment on Doug Christie's matchup with Kobe. I watched this during the Rockets timeouts, but Christie did a tremendous job (and without CWebb to cover when Kobe turned the corner on a drive).

Hats off to the Kings. They did everything right except the last 15 seconds of OT. What an effort and confidence builder.

Hey did you guys know that Doug Christie once wore #8 for the Lakers? Ironic . Peja was drafted in 1996 but didn't play until 1998 but he is playing so well right now , he is averaging over 20 ppg , The Kings should have one this game but they let Kobe get hot , I knew they would lose if it went into overtime .
