I was wondering if any has it, if it works ok with a 56k connection, could i take it over to a friends house and be able to hook it up there. And how much u bought it for and what store?
I dont have it myself, but so far, i heard its not to bad on a 56k connection. If it was anything like Dreamcast connection, it shouldnt be too bad. As for the adapter, I heard there was a shortage of them like the PS2 when it first came out. More than likely, they will not have anymore till after XMas. Another way and cheaper alternatvie to do it is through a USB-10/100 adapter like this: http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=11096541&m=488&cat=540&scat=1576 Stick this sucker into one of your 2 USB ports and hook it up to your broadband connection. Thats the only catch though, you need a broadband connection in order to connect through this method. If you connect through dialup, your SOL until you can get a hold of the adapter.
I have one but haven't used a 56k connection on it. You can hook it up to anybody's PS2 and it should work. I got mine a few days after they came out at a game store in Northwest Mall for $40, but I'm not sure how easy it is to find them now.
Well, I must say, if it is like the DC's then it will be perfect. I posted for like 8 months on one of those
Alright thanks for the help, i might try ordering it through the net but looking at a couple of sites already i see they are back ordered and i would try the USB Port thing but i dont have broadband, hopefully a store has them, even though that sucks because most the time you call them and they dont know what your talking about and tell you they have them just so u show up. Glad to hear it runs pretty well on 56k.
