Mad that I was pulled over at all. The HOV lane was empty on a Sunday afternoon, and while I will admit I was doing 74, I thought it was a 70 limit. My bad I guess. Anyhoo, driving 70-ish on the highway (or at least within 10 mph of the speed limit) is pretty normal for me, and I've not been ticketed for highway speeding.

^ Dude. The speed limit can be 35, 20, or even 100, and when you're over it, you're guilty. It doesn't matter whether it's a holiday, there's a bajillion cars, no cars, or if my grandmother is walking in the freeway. If you pass the limit, you're guilty. Why can't people understand this?

And just because you haven't gotten caught before, doesn't mean you will NEVER get caught! :p

Not sure where you thought I said I was not guilty. Re-read my post.

Like they say, you gotta give the system time .... Time was up for you thats all.. IF you havent felt the adrenaline rush of receiving a ticket for going 4 mph over the limit, then you havent lived..

I am 100% sure you didn't say it and I didn't say you did, so there's no need to re-read your post. I said YOU'RE GUILTY and by that I mean to say "don't be mad because you know you broke the law and you got caught." Bottom line after that is: you can't get mad.

If deferred disposition is an option, you might want to do that. You're basically on probation. If you don't get another ticket within a specified time frame (like 3 months), the your ticket is dismissed. I think you still have to pay some court costs but I believe it ends up being cheaper than paying the ticket or doing defensive driving (because you have to pay for defensive driving as well).

lol, yep, mark that off my bucket list.

Back to the defensive driving... it's a 6-hour deal, but online you can break it up however you need to. Seems this is the better way to go if you can with a first ticket.

If you prick me, do I not bleed? Dude, I am guilty for speeding, but not for expressing human emotion.

^ Of course, javal. If I break the law, and I get caught, it's my fault. I won't get mad for my own stupidity.

Get mad if you want, I won't front. When it's time to hump, won't be no punk.
You're acting like you can't help getting pricked.
