How will cancellation of the season effect our RPDs?

    Maybe they can merge with the Texans Cheerleaders or the Dynamo Girls or the Aeros Dynamics Dancers until the lockout is over. And if the lockout extends to April 2012 (the start of the MLB season), Jim Crane might allow them to dance/cheer at Astros games, they can be called the Astros Power Dancers. APD for only one season.

    They make very little money from cheering at games. Most of their "cheerleader income" is from sponsored events and showings and from the perks that come with being a cheerleader (hair/makeup/etc.).

    Nearly all of them have full time jobs or are full time students as well, is it not like they have nothing to do for the time being.

    i assume the Rocket facebook page is putting anything up to keep the fans coming back to check for updates.

    any calendar shoot is probably in the can by now and they are marketing the RPD team as long as they officially can milk it.

    eventually, what's the point of promoting the Rockets with a squad o' hotties if there's no season?

    i know guys will reference gentleman clubs and such, but these women are usually fairly accomplished and they usually have real jobs
