Surprisingly, I thought Ford shot too much. This may have been part of the problem in the first half. I also thought Klotz played well when he was in, but Barnes kept going with Buckman instead, who didn't show much.

For a game in which JT, Royal and Mouton were uninvolved for most of it(for whatever reason) that was a huge win over a good program.

Btw Freak, why did Brad not impress you. 6 boards in 17 minutes isn't enough banging for his first game?

And I must give up the love to the Bodd. He played a very solid game.

And I have 3 words to describe TJ ford's performance last night.

    SUPER. SCINTILATING. SENSATIONAL.

Loved Vitale's comment about how great players "commit alot of turnovers because they're not afraid to take chances and mkae things happen. Larry Bird and Isiah Thomas led the league in turnovers for that reason." The Stevie haters had to have gouged their eyes out over that.

I thought Buckman looked awesome. He has a nice feel for the game.

I agree GR8-1, I just don't know what Freak expected.

Boddicker was also impressive, and TJ learned how to shoot over the offseason. Watch out.

But those guys took chances and (a) got wins out of it and (b) racked up assists. Steve, thus far hasn't racked up high assist numbers and his team hasn't won much as a result. :)

If the Longhorns were sucking with TJ turning the ball over 5 times a game, Vitale wouldn't have made that comment. Fortunately, we're not!! :D

Well, both Isiah and Bird played with great players and good role players.

That was a scary game last night. Thought we were gonna lose.

    Well Gr8-1,

Don't you like the fact we beat a damn good Georgia team with Mouton, Royal and Thomas being non factors most of the game :)

Actually, I'm kind of worried about them being non-factors. ;) I think we're a bit overrated early. Hope to be proven wrong.

Did anyone notice the fall that TJ took in the first part of the game. It looked scary then he got back up and was mad about the foul. He really loves the game and I love watching him play. He will become a special player that the nba needs more of which is a TRUE point guard. There are a lot of pt. guards that shoot more than they pass. He is an exiciting player also. I would love to have him on the rockets when he comes to the draft. But not likely to happen.

I think Mouton and Ivey were a little off that night and will improve in upcoming games. As for James Thomas, I think he never really got into rhythm after he sat out the first two fouls. Hopefully he can become a force to be wreckin with in the upcoming games.

With that said I think Texas hasnt played there best even though they played a great game against Georgia. They need to work a liitle on rebounding and some defense. After that everything else is pretty much okay. Hook em' Horns

Klotz went out because GA was playing a small, athletic lineup, and running us up and down the floor. Klotz couldn't keep up. We'll play plenty of teams where his size will be an attribute, and he will get numerous minutes.

As far as Ivey, I thought he played an excellent game on the defensive end while he was in there.

    And the refs sucked.
